If we contacted you regarding an interested buyer
We have a highly qualified buyer who has retained us to search for a very specific kind of company on their behalf. Our research indicates that your company may well match their acquisition or merger criteria. Let’s talk!
We are buy/sell intermediaries who usually represent buyers. Unless we clearly state otherwise, our fees are paid by the buying company.
In most cases, our buyer is a Private Equity Group (PEG). Private equity groups are investment companies that buy companies on a regular basis. Our private equity clients are usually looking for add-ons. That is, they already own one or more companies in a particular industry and desire to grow via acquisition, within that industry.
We also represent:
- Foreign companies looking to acquire a US-based company(s) in their industry to jumpstart the process of establishing themselves in the US market.
- Medium-size and large US-based companies looking to grow via acquisition.
- Small businesses and entrepreneurs: While most of our clients belong to one of the above groups, we sometimes arrange acquisitions for smaller companies and even for individual entrepreneurs who want to start in business via acquisition, typically in an industry where they have experience.
We can tell you more about our buyer for which we approached you, when we talk. We’ll be happy to overview the buy/sell process for you, and answer any questions that you may have. Of course there is no obligation.
